January CREATE and NAS Sketch 352

As promised, I'm back with the reveal of January's CREATE Magazine 

and this weeks brand new sketch from Nuts About Sketches.

Let's start with CREATE, shall we?

This months magazine has over 300 pages of great sketches, and awesome inspiration.

The featured manufacturer is Jillibean Soup. Love them!

I have two layouts in the January issue-

The focus of the first layout  is to use Social Media, such as Facebook, as a journaling technique.

I must admit, I had a small panic attack when I first read the assignment.

After I thought about it a bit, it really turned out to be a lot of fun.

My second layout for the January issue, is a winter layout.

Most of my family and friends will tell you, I am a summer girl. 

I DO NOT like winter, but...

I really, really wanted to used this adorable 6X6 paper pad from

American Crafts for this layout. 

What do you think, too much white???

I just can't decide...

Now on to this weeks NAS Sketch.

This is Sketch # 352

and this is the layout I completed using this sketch:

I used a very old collection from Crate Paper called "Story Teller" for this page.
It seemed to fit pretty well with the theme.
 I'm also trying to convince myself that if I use some of the old stuff I have,
then maybe I can justify purchasing some of that new CHA stuff
that will be out before we know it.
